This yearβs special poster exhibition marking National Coming Out Day on October 11 is now open.
Keith Haring was an artist who openly identified as a gay man, which was not very common in the 1980s, when prejudice and discrimination were still widespread. On August, 1988, he contributed this work to the #NationalComingOutDay project, championing the journey of embracing and celebrating one’s LGBTQ+ identity. This work remains recognized as a symbol of this special day π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈβ¨
