NEWS
We are excited to share the ongoing “NKHC World AIDS Day 2025” event with you! 📣

During this event, we are unveiling a new poster titled “Safe Sex!” for the first time. Additionally, we will showcase a poster created in 1987 for ACT UP, the AIDS prevention and awareness organization founded in New York 👀

Furthermore, we will present materials highlighting how Keith Haring’s art continues to serve as a symbol for infectious disease and sexual health awareness. These include designer toys supported by (RED), an organization that aids developing countries’ infectious disease programs; masturbation products developed by TENGA, a company dedicated to sexual wellness; and documents from the 2008 World AIDS Day event, “Club Campaign for 2008 World AIDS Day REAL-Living Together.”
On monitors, you can watch a video of a special talk show held during the Bunka Gakuen University Festival, titled “ZERO transmission in Japan by 2030.” 🎬
We also invite you to explore the HIV/AIDS timeline, which traces the history of HIV/AIDS alongside Keith Haring’s activism. 📝

Throughout the event period, thanks to the generous support of Sagami Rubber, free condoms will be distributed. 🎉 The museum shop will also feature ACT UP merchandise and books related to HIV/AIDS.
This event is free to attend. We hope you will take this opportunity—once a year—to learn about and reflect on HIV/AIDS. We look forward to welcoming you!
