🌈NKHC National Coming Out Day 2024🌈

October 11: National Coming Out Day
Established in 1988, this day celebrates those who courageously share their sexual orientation or gender identity. Now, it’s a global movement—recognized and celebrated worldwide.
In 1988, Keith Haring, one of the few openly gay artists of the 1980s, created the iconic symbol for National Coming Out Day. His vibrant work captures the moment of stepping from darkness into a colorful world—a powerful metaphor for living authentically. Today, it continues to be a universal symbol of pride and self-expression.
This year, the Nakamura Keith Haring Collection dedicates National Coming Out Day to empowering the next generation. Join us for NKHC National Coming Out Day 2024 as we explore the courage of young people coming out.
