In November 2025, at our Hiroshima event “Drawing Peace with Keith Haring,” visiting children created a 5.4-meter-wide banner 👀 The work is currently on view at Hiroshima International School ✨ April 25 marks the school’s cultural festival, International Festival 2026. If you are in the area, we warmly encourage you to stop by!
Created during a workshop centered on drawing “paired birds” 🕊️🕊️, this banner was completed over three days with the participation of around 250 children under the age of 18. By layering each individual’s free expression, the work embodies a shared wish for peace 🌈
Following its presentation last month at Hiroshima City Itsukaichi Kannon Nishi Elementary School, this marks the second venue for the work 🫶 We are currently seeking public spaces, schools, cultural institutions, and commercial venues in Hiroshima City to host the banner so that it can be seen by a wider audience 📢
